This is a reminder to RSVP for the tech session this weekend on Traffic Laws and Safety Issues, conducted by our own Albuquerque Police Department Officer and Roadrunner Board member Chris Marquez, as well as APD Officer Nadine Hamby. This is a great opportunity to learn about the point of view of the traffic police, as well as ask questions to the type of Officer who might pull you over - your rights, and the right things to do. This will be an updated session from last year, which was extremely informative. Details are

Last year Pat gave us an interesting look into his 914 car build, as well as a primer on welding for the beginner. He follows that up this year with an update on the project, including the decision making process for modifications, the budget impacts, and the overall planning for a car build. This should be a fascinating discussion with plenty of time for Q & A. Plus, the 914 will either be on the rotisserie or on a dolly for paint and reassembly, allowing an up close look at this ground-up restoration. Presented by Patrick Ferrell and Roadrunner Tech Chair Don Vichick.
Some of you have complained (kidding!) that I'm just not providing enough information about events going on in Porsche Club Russia. I got this email last week that describes what looks like an incredible Regatta in Turkey. So dust off the old Sloop John B and get ready for some maritime fun with fellow Porsche enthusiasts!
