About us... The Roadrunner Region was founded on October 13, 1967. Many of the original reasons for starting a PCA region exist today: camaraderie around the Porsche marque, competition, social, charity, and technical education. Our Region covers all of New Mexico and often we have members who live in the bordering states. We like to think of our region as one that offers many different events, sure to please the different interests of our members. We also have some annual activities that are known throughout the country. Fiesta del Porsche was started about 32 years ago and it's the biggest event of the year for Roadrunners. Fiesta offers an extra-long weekend of activities just before Memorial Day. We typically start out with a wine tasting or some other introduction to local fare, and the rest of the weekend continues with a concours d'elegance, tours, autocross, banquets and luncheons. It's a time for Fiesta veterans to renew their friendships, or for new attendees to meet other like-minded Porsche people. There is also an annual picnic in Corrales and that's been going on even longer than Fiesta. Usually, about 65 cars are parked under the cool cottonwoods at a private residence in Corrales and everyone enjoys a lovely summer picnic.
We encourage anyone who owns a Porsche (or those fortunate people who own more than one Porsche) to join the club and see what we're all about. It's a great way to meet many people with common interests, and to develop new interests, with the support of a national organization. When we plan our events each year, we spend a lot of time discussing what worked, what didn't, and what we can do to get more people to our events. We're a dynamic club, dedicated to making Porsche ownership more enjoyable for everyone. Joining PCA is easy - just contact our Membership Chairman (click on the Officials page of this website). You can also contact any of the other board members or committee chairs and they'll be glad to tell you all about the Roadrunner Region.

Notices...
Hey everyone, check out the September 2008 issue of Excellence Magazine!! Local automotive journalist, Zachary Mayne, has written a comparison article, featuring Jo Irwin's 993 Turbo and Brian Leduc's Cayman S. Nice pictures of the cars and nice article!
Dear Roadrunners, On Thursday, January 10th, our dear friend, Lisa Thomas, lost her courageous battle with cancer. Many of us were very fortunate to have known Lisa. She was an energetic, generous, kind person who approached everything in life with grace and style. And she was quite an accomplished Porsche racer! We will miss her tremendously.
